However, the institution your spouse or common-law partner is attending is not an institution that is qualified under this category.

I have seen over internet, courses over a year or more rarely had any hurdle to get their SWOP approved. Less than year is always a big fish to fry !

You can simply add the new LOA for new program via webform and explanation letter. You don’t need to withdraw.

Ok new Program 1 year or more duration? Is it possible now for new program admission now for Jan 2023?

U can only apply for May intake now or fall 23. I dont think any program with Jan 23 intake will be available

Spouses are eligible if attending a DLI but not guaranteed based on ties to home country, funds, program spouse taking etc. Assume you have applied because January is a few weeks away. If you have not applied then probably the SOWP will be rejected because you cannot apply with less than 6 months on the study permit. So if processing takes a long time and close to completion of the program, then SOWP will be rejected

So were you approved for a study permit, and the SOWP was refused? If so, SOWPs are not guaranteed. The student needs to show reasons to return and if the spouse is in home country, that is a strong to go back after studies. So the study permit may have been approved for that reason and the SOWP refused.

No, there is not and never said that. Said that spouses are not guaranteed SOWPS. Was the offer letter unconditional? Were you approved for the study permit? If so include, proof you are full time - tuition paid, registration, unconditional acceptance letter? Sometimes a letter is not enough. What is the program at York?

Post Graduate Certificate in Business Administration Cours started at Jan 2023 to Aug 2023, 8 months course without break full time.
some one told me Enrolment letter is mandatory and Study permit also included in spouse work application.
My wife will travel canada in last of Dec.
