Hi Everyone, my wife's online portal says everything is completed as of 14th November except Oath ceremony. Its almost 1 month and no update on Oath Ceremony. Any idea how long will it take to receive oath invite? We have travel plans for February 1st week. Thinking should be rescheduled?

My wife applied online on 11th October 2021.

Send an email to the testing office to know the date. They will be happy to answer.

Hi all,

I am wondering if anyone knows the different stages of citizenship applications.

I passed the citizenship test in July, but nothing else has changed since then.

Is it true that when you get the invitation to do the citizenship test, you have passed all the other requirements or have I got this wrong?

I'm in the same boat. Passed the test in Aug but except BG check everything else is pending

I am also waiting for oath, since August 18 everything else is completed. I sent an email but no reply.

I replied to test email which is this one but it’s online application so i think that’s why didn’t get reply back.

As i am located in Brampton i emailed Scarborough office. Surprisingly i received a response in 10 minutes with Oath date, however i replied back asking for a new date.

Can we enter canada using citizenahip certificate?

You can enter by land with just your home passport. Don't even need citizenship certificate.

No commercial carrier will let your board on a vehicle to Canada without a canadian passport or a valid visa. Citizenship certificate will not be enough.

Ya i got test invite from same email ID, this email ID is like auto generated or may be kind of app thats why they didn’t reply .
