what time did you reach at BLS brampton and how long does it took you to get all done.

I booked an appointment. I was in and out in 15 min.

Okay thank you. Sorry one more question do you remember when were you able to track your application on oci website after submission ? I have send it via porolator and it was delivered to Brampton on sept 21 but still not be able to track it on oci we site still showing records not found but bls website shows processing at consulate general since sept 27.

No Problem. I submitted on 31 Aug (started showing processing at same day on BLS site) and was able to see it on OCI site on 15th Sep.

Based on that I see your application was seen processing from 27th Sept. Usually it takes around 15 days to showup on OCI site. You may see it this week or next week as we had a long weekend so expect some delay.

I think atleast 1 week. In my case, we are flying 3 days from now and luckily today was Wednesday. The Consulate General in Toronto holds an open house every Wednesday from 3 PM onwards. So we went there and picked up the OCI ourselves.

We also visited the Consular Camp in Brampton 10 days ago and explained them our situation(that we are flying Oct 15/16). Don't think made any difference since it took 3 weeks from Date of Acknowledgement to PROCESSED.

In my case, we are flying 3 days from now and luckily today was Wednesday. The Consulate General in Toronto holds an open house every Wednesday from 3 PM onwards. So we went there and picked up the OCI ourselves. They are usually good in such cases. But if you have more time, I would advice you to wait and receive via BLS. Initially they declined our in-person pick up request, but when I explained them the situation, they helped us.

My oci received at Vancouver on 7the of October but on my bls tracking still processing at consulate. How long it will take them to mail ? I am flying on 30 October.
and for my son myfile sent on17 th of aug and acknowledgement date is 20 September still under process. I am not what to do because we are flying to India on 30 ofOctober

Can anyone please confirm if we can apply Entry or Tourist Visa without surrender certificate? Or can we apply surrender certificate and Visa together? Can anyone please tell me ?
