Not sure...Our BC is completed since August 10 and no Test invite yet....

The time for background varies between offices but once BG is complete test invites are almost always issued within a month of BG.

I noticed that the activity slowed down since last week of August not only in June 2022 forum but also in March, April, May. July 2022 is lagging behind on ECAS changing to In Progress withing 40 days after AOR. Any thoughts on what's happening?

There's definitely a noticeable change. Toronto and Ontario in geenral are still going strong but many other offices seem to have slowed down.

Rightly said. Toronto is pretty quick in shelling out Test Invite, which is not the case for other offices, even for paper applicant.

My office is Sydney, NS - no change on my status since the BG was completed on Aug 10, 2022.

Typically it's the office closest to your home. This is the list of all offices: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...act-ircc/offices/canada-appointment-only.html

You can also call the IRCC call center and ask them the office, they'll give you. But unless you moved after applying or live in a remote location, the primary office should be the nearest office.

If you received your test invite by email, you will receive the details about the oath ceremony also by email.
