Even another question, is it at all possible to get some of the monies spent on other applications? I paid restoration like 3 times, have a work permit, TRV and visitor record applications all still pending.
Do I have any hope of getting some of the monies back?

For me initially it was None. Because there were no messages for me when I linked. I haven't received AOR either. So, it stayed none until my first ADR (imm5669) and then it changed to read afterwards.

Keep in mind that you will need a proof of address if applying online because this is where they will physically send your new SIN to. If I were to apply in person, I'd always choose to apply at the place where I actually live. So Montréal might not be the best place. Just my 2 cents.
Hello guys,
It’s been 3months since Criminality, security and eligibility and medical were passed but no update since 3months.. seems as if February AORs have some small delays?
has anyone been in thesame situation?
Just read snippet in PDF document on website . Not sure how to interpret these numbers in context for those who got AOR and nothing processed after!!

The numbers in the last 2 sentences seem to be in line with IRCC’s announced 2022/23 Budget released at the beginning of this year. All this means for people who have received an AOR but nothing further (& also those still awaiting the start of processing/linking/AOR) is that they could be part of the remaining 9000 budgeted to receive PR before year-end 2022, or they may be part of the 32,000 budgeted to get PR in 2023. Let’s hope it’s early in 2023! Best wishes.

My residential address is in the new province, NL. The address has been changed on my bank accounts, credit card accounts. This proof of address was an ADR and the bank statements were used as proof.
My preference is to do the SIN in my new province, but to do that immediately would cost $1500 .

NDP immigration critic Jenny Kwan said there is nothing new listed in what Fraser, who is from the Liberal Party, tabled in Parliament.
“What the Government provided is nothing more than the recycling of what is already in place. The Minister is not proposing anything new to the Immigration Levels plan to support the goals set out in Motion 44,” Kwan wrote in an email to CIC News. “This so-called strategy lacks any real information or details of what a true comprehensive plan would entail.”
