A new medical request? Did you not pass your previous one? As in, maybe something about your health was flagged, perhaps. Please take care and hope it's nothing more than just a glitch or IRCC being IRCC.
Applied for SP on 24th May with SOWP +Kid
Complete silence since then
Only medical update for spouse on 5th July
That's it. 13 weeks and 92 days are over.
I guess, no hopes for getting on time or by 31st Aug.
Have left with no option now than asking for defer.

• You have significant family ties in Canada.
• The purpose of your visit to Canada is not consistent with a temporary stay given the details you have provided in your application.
Although my SOP was strong and I have already explained about my home ties and impact of program on my career. Still my SP was refused. Any suggestions or advice will apricated.
Got my PPR today

Ironically, my admission has been deferred to 2023 by the university because I had no updates on the deadline day 7th August. (no winter/summer intake for my course)

I am a family applicant from India as well SP+SOWP+Minor SP, although my file was logged a bit later(July 1st), I am very curious to see how your timelines go. I have been following family applicants such as @Geet7@parrots@mtosan out of which geet and mtson were approved with a timeline averaging to the work permit processing average from thier respective countries. And parrots is still pending while it has passed the 12 week deadline it is close to the 19 week WP avg. Just trying to put a logic behind and find patterns. I'm slightly worried that the family applications are being processed based on the WP processing avg time of the co applicant.
Let's hang tight and wishing us all best of luck at this moment.
