Yes, I made 5 attempts with the online tool but was not successful to get any results. today called on 8882422100. The agent told me that process starts immediately with the submission. But depends on the officer when he informs you. Is it correct?

Depends on the definition of process. You can check your status by using their automated system and it is more updated than ECAS, just follow the instructions, press 1 in the first menu, then 1 (although it says express entry) then 2 and finally 4, then your application number and birth year, that should give you some result.

I applied for PR on August 5th last year, and it has been a year since today! I haven't started processing my application yet. Lucky for you to have news!

Hello everyone,

I got my GCMS notes back.

I can see that my application started processing on June 08 and the officer changed my birthplace from the city to the province where I was born, weird.

I can also see that criminality is passed, I passed my medical but it has expired, eligibility and security has yet to start.

On June 20 there was an email sent to me via the “bulk email letter application” so indeed the email was to everyone, it’s probably safe to ignore it if you do not have anything to update (police certificates, schedule A with gaps). In my case I updated it because I moved to a new location.

That’s it, hope you all receive PR soon.

Edit: This unilateral update by case officer is also why I was not able to link my application to GCKEY, now it is successfully linked, I encourage everyone to try the same WRT birthplace.

Hi, happy that you get your GCMS Notes. When did you apply for them? I requested my GCMS Notes twice, one on April and the other one on May, but I didn’t receive a response.

That is weird, I applied to CBSA on Jul 15 because I was told this is faster and returns more complete information.
There’s very little information inside my file though.

Yes, and I did it through the Privacy Act which is for free

That is promising compared to IRCC which ignores basically all webforms and takes 2 months to respond to ATIP requests.

You don’t need to explain anything, they send the whole thing to you.

I have a question, I got a positive decision approved as protected person but my kids were rejected but I added them in my PR application I am wondering if they are allowed to go back in home country as usual and are they allowed to use back home passport, because they are not eligible for Refugee Travel Document. You weren't accepted as refugee.

I and two others here were asked for Medical in May and all did medical immediately. Medical passed in a few days after medical done but no update since May. It is mid-August and no update. So expect 2 to 4 months or more.

Finally, I received Pre-Arrival letter and 30 minutes after that the PR Portal questions and Invitation were emailed to me.
Application submitted: May, 2021
AOR: June. 2021
Processing Started: Dec 6, 2021
Asked for new forms: March 2022
New medical: May 11, 2022
Medical Passed: May 27, 2022
Pre-Arrival letter: August 17, 2022
Invitation for PR Portal and instructions: August 17, 2022

Let's see when I will get the cards in the mail.
