Based on the immigration targets for 2022 and this source:
https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.cicnews.com/2022/02/canada-immigration-levels-plan-2022-2024-0221165.html/amp

"The levels plan seems to suggest that IRCC is temporarily reducing Express Entry admissions so it can accommodate admissions under the TR2PR program. IRCC is looking to land 40,000 immigrants in 2022 and the final 32,000 immigrants by 2023 under the TR2PR stream."

If the cap for 2022 is 40k and they have processed ~25k so far, therefore we can expect another 15k will receive their decision by the end of 2022.
There is no guarantee again, the cap can either decrease / increase, we never know that but yes the coming next months are to watch out for! Especially from September, since most of the officers will be returning back from vacation and will also be done with study permit applications.

But that’s then across all categories

To anyone who is waiting for their first PR card.
I saw a thread that detailed how to link their PR card to their IRCC account to track the progress.
https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/linking-pr-card-application-to-track-pr-card-after-landing-flagpole-landing-interview-is-complete.617040/

Is this something that us TR2PR people need to look into? Or would the permanent residence portal suffice?
I really don't know. It's to you. How long have you been waiting? And has your photo been returned?

Hi everyone! Could you please advise:

1. Applied IG english stream - May 7, 2021.
2. Got AOR and linked account - March 18, 2022.
3. Medical passed - March 18, 2022.
4. ADR - June 21, 2022.
5. Called IRCC July 5, 2022 and they told me that medical passed, eligibility passed, sharing info in progress, criminality in progress, security not started.
6. Today, Aug 15, 2022 received PR portal and will submit today the confirmation and photo.

I'm planning to travel outside Canada in 2 weeks. Would be any problem to travel with TRV now that PR has been approved?

Thank you!

Once you receive PR status/ecopr, your TRV is no longer valid. You can go with a PR card or apply PRTD outside of Canada to re-enter Canada

I have been waiting for over 2 weeks, my photo shows: still in review
I was also confused about this part. From my opinion, eCopr means all your document has already been received and accepted by officer. We are only waiting for the PR card now. Then why the photo is still under status : In review in the PR portal. Does that mean the photo still has the risk being returned?

I think it will be soon for you. My friend was asked for paystub at the end of the July, and he got portal request today. Let's say you will receive the portal within 2-4 week!

Hi guys,

I just got my CoPR a few days ago and just finished setting up my new SIN + other stuff, so I would like to share my timeline with everyone.
  • Stream: Essential, Non-Healthcare (I couldnt apply for International Graduates due to not having IELTS at that time)
  • Submitted: May 28, 2021
  • AOR: February 2022
  • Biometrics: Already submitted before
  • Eligibility: Passed Aug 2
  • Admissibility: Passed
  • COPR: Aug 10
Currently waiting for my PR Card.

IRCC never asked me for additional documents or anything, I guess I prepared everything pretty well.

A year of waiting in pain. But now I can smile a lot more knowing that I have achieve one of the biggest goals of my life. And the domestic tuition fee is pretty sweet.
I wish everyone who is waiting will soon get good news regarding their PR. I firmly believe that in the end, everyone here will get it.

I submitted an ADR yesterday and today I got 2 GU, the first one, we’re reviewing your additional documents and the second one nothing changed, if you submitted an adr, did you experience the same thing?

How many people applied in each stream? I'm looking for how many French language applicants applied.
