No, updates on status arrive without emails. IRCC sends email notifications for letters only (biometrics, OPR, other)

same experience for me. Only got email for biometrics, but all other updates - I had to check the application as no emails are being sent out

I had submitted my biometrics on 5 May 2022.
No updates yet. Background check is in progress. I had deferred my admission already once and I cannot do it again since the university wont allow it.

I submitted an application for SP and OWP for my spouse via SDS on May 8 as well My medical was updated on June 29. My spouse's application hasn't had any updates as of now, not even biometrics, which we both completed on May 12.

Mine is also Humber College Sept. Intake. Hoping there an update in my application in the coming week.

Oh that’s great, which course ? I don’t want to defer it to Jan-23, although the Humber website is showing the availability then, but the international applications are closed. I’m just hopeful some activity happens in the coming month as said by IDP. My Medicals haven’t been updated either, which is keeping me really worried.

No, Sheridan College. I didnt get an update either. My advisor says I can expect something in the middle of August

Great, same here. My Consultant (IDP) has told me not to worry about getting through each stage, as all of these checks may get updated at once within a day or two, before getting the final approval. Don’t know to what extent this is true. I’m still worried abt meeting my deadlines. Good luck on ur wait.

Nope not yet..! im just trying to stay positive the way they are skipping april files- they might reach june soon! which is really sad for april/may applicants, but good for june applicants

i've also heard this! and im from Humber with IDP as my counsellor too and we have the same timeline haha! we can only hope and wait now. which course are you taking up?
