Guys I've a question, if I'm in Indian for my marriage and then get pr confirmation there. Is it there any way to get let ircc know to send me the confirmation again as being in India I won't be able to submit my passport there. Please any suggestions will be helpful thanks

Are you a principal applicant or dependent?
1. If you are the principal applicant, you don't have to submit the passport. Once you get ecopr, they will mail you a PR Card. If you are outside Canada when you receive the portal email, reply to the portal email with the return date, then they will send the portal email again.
2. If you are dependent,
a. Inside Canada: Once your main applicant gets ecopr, they will mail your PR Card as well. No need to submit a passport.
b. Outside Canada: Then you will receive PPR from IRCC, then you have to submit the passport for a single entry visa in order to enter Canada and issue you landing document at the port of entry. PR card will be mailed to the address after they issue you the landing document.

Hey guys I have some questions.
I just logged into my CIC account and saw that "Current status" was "Application/profile updated" instead of "submitted".
I went inside and saw that BIL that was submitted on Friday was confirmed there but there's no update about "biometrics" being passed. However, this I had already checked yesterday. I am not sure why it was "Application/profile updated"? I didn't receive any email this weekend nor I can see any ADR there under the PR application. As I linked earlier, is it the reason that I am not seeing any ADR? I don't want to miss on it like how some people have. They linked again and saw expired ADR. I don't want such issues.

Can someone suggest what's happening. I went back to my CIC account and the status changed to normal "submitted" again. How to know if there's an ADR waiting if there are technical issues on TR to PR portal? Please someone answer. The last update is still the medical being passed when I had linked the on 14th July with date of medical passed being 13th July.

Try CBSA instead of IRCC. I requested from CIC in January and still no response lol. By CBSA send me the status in a month.

I just logged into my CIC account and saw that "Current status" was "Application/profile updated" instead of "submitted".

I have had this happen too. It just means you’ve had a ghost update. Someone has been working on your file, or updating some information but nothing is required from you. The status changes back to submitted as soon as you leave and then try to go back into your account. It’s good news because it means someone is working on something!

But 1 more thing I wanna add is in past when my work permit or study permit extension used to give me a ghost update, I used to get it officially on my email that changes have been made. But this time I didn't receive any such email of those sorts.

Need Help! Can we link the file twice or no? I linked in feb without AOR than I got request letter to pay biometric fess. After I paid I got AOR. I’m just curious it says for tr to pr applicants try linking the file once you get the AOR. I’m not getting any e-mails that to process your application you need to link the application. Just AOR

I have had this happen too. It just means you’ve had a ghost update. Someone has been working on your file, or updating some information but nothing is required from you. The status changes back to submitted as soon as you leave and then try to go back into your account. It’s good news because it means someone is working on something!

also under "Messages" column instead of "Read" it says "None". I am freaking out because both situation are extreme for me to bear atm. Positive or Negative. I just pray it isn't negative (touchwood) for some odd reason. Because usually faster decisions could be not happy news at times. But I am hoping GOD to help me. Om Namah Shivaye!

• TFN: April 4, 2022 (received TFN in an IRCC reply confirming receipt of Use of Rep form submitted by Webform; unable to link though tried every other day; number started with XE00266....)
• Account Linked: May 9, 2022 ('X' dropped & number changed to E00266....; Medical shown as 'passed', then a day later changed to 'not required, unless requested')
• Request for Medical: May 27, 2022 (likely due to expiry of old medical; booked medical & completed on June 3; Medical change to 'Passed' on June 11)
• Ghost Update: June 17, 2022 (no email notification; Current Status on home account page showed 'Application/profile updated' then changed back to 'Submitted' after looking at Full Application Status which had no noticeable change, therefore, it was a ghost update)

Nothing since June 17. My ghost update on June 17th was just like your recent experience. There can be activity on their side (IRCC's side of the GCMS system) but it doesn't necessarily trigger a change in status/progress visible from our rather limited (dumbed down) view in our accounts.

that's crazy why to update it as "passed" then again ask to re-do it. Ppl's hopes get high for no reason because of such updates. I just don't want to go through any ADR thing again especially things like pcc or something, it's a big pain in the ass to go through such painstaking procedure again

Yours are the same as mine except my Medical passed June 11, and no request for Biometrics perhaps because they are still good to 2024. Sorry I can't add anything more to what you see in your account. It's unfortunate but as I've said before, the rather vague steps & descriptions we see from our side can represent multiple steps on IRCC's side, so until they complete all aspects of each step, nothing gets triggered to change the message we see even though 'work' can still be proceeding. There is nothing for you to do more than you are -- just check your account and email once a day (including Junk/spam folder), respond promptly when you get a request, stay calm ... breathe in, breathe out.
