Still waiting for my app to close on Tracker. Been a week since oath & sent the oath form same day.

Just noticed my status in ECAS got update to decision made, but no update in the new tracker yet. Hopefully the decision was made in my favor.

The new tracker statuses also got updated to completed all except for the oath

Took my test on the 22nd and today around afternoon my status for Prohibitions activity, physical and language skills was updated to completed. No update yet on citizenship ceremony.

Can someone let me know how can I check the location of my application is being processed ?

Also my background check was completed on March 04th and so far there is no update with citizenship test or any email.
Kind of curious since a lot of July 2021 applicants got their test and oath completed.

Any response will be appreciated.

Everything was updated to completed yesterday and now the tracker shows I am scheduled for my citizenship ceremony on 16th August. Wondering how soon can I apply for my citizenship certificate and then for the passport? I have plans to travel to see my family after 3 years in October and hoping I will now be able to do so.

My plan is to email SCR office a day or two after my oath ceremony to expedite my certificate and then try and get an urgent passport by sharing my travel plans.

Did you talk to the officer of the Oath so they will expedite for sending you the certificate?
I just wondering, I talked to.. but the certificate still arrive after 2 weeks which I feel so blessed still

That probably won't be necessary as Scarborough office closes your application/prints your certificate approximately one to two days after receiving the oath form which is surprising efficient for that office. The rest depends on Canada Post.
