i submitted my federal stage application under QSW in Feb 2021, received medical and bio request in Feb 2022, and today i received a request letter asking for the US visa refusal letter which is a B2 visitor visa that i applied in 2013 but was rejected. I think the refusal letter it refers to is the slip of paper that the officer gave after the interview. Problem is that was many years ago and i no longer have the letter. And i can't find anywhere that i can retrieve the result online. The only document i have related to it is the interview appointment confirmation sent by email containing the applicatin ID.

Do you guys think the confirmation email would be sufficient or it would cause a serios problem to my PR application as in the request letter it states that if the document is not received it could be refused as incomplete?

Thanks

I would email the US consulate that handled your application and ask for any notes or information or reasons for rejection. Even if they do not respond, I would then include this email you wrote to the US consulate to IRCC to show that you have done everything you could to locate the letter they want. But you cannot get it.
Also if there is any reason why you think that B2 visa was rejected, such as insufficient funding or something, I would also explain that carefully.

July 2021 inland applicant, received my portal invitation today. So glad to be near the end of this long journey! Here’s my timeline:

Applied: July 2021
Request for more documents: March 31
Invitation to pre-arrival services: April 1
Request for more documents: April 8
Biometrics request: April 13
Medical request: May 19
Invitation to PR portal: June 23

Is this the eCOPR everyone speaks of? Or am I waiting for a more official document (other than the elusive PR card)?

besides the refusal letter a settlement plan is also requested. mostly some common documents i see that would be requested are some personal history or form updating etc. from past experience when a settlement plan is requested what could that mean to my application?

Hi guys,

I landed recently into Canada, like 2 days back, and am not sure how to check the status of my PR cards? Is it possible thru ECAS? Currently ECAS is showing up the status of my PR application. Is it going to be updated with the PR cards status soon, or there is another tool to check that out?
Thank you and good luck to all of you…

ECAS won`t show your PR card status. ECAS only shows you entered Canada on this date at this airport and become permanent resident. You need to link that to your GCKey account. I landed on 20th April and I received my card on 17th June. Its taking around 2 months now.

You get a first email where you are asked to respond with some basic info so that they can create a pr portal account for you. Then you get pr portal login credentials (this is the second email). Once you acess your pr portal and follow the instructions there, you'll get your eCoPR on that portal :)

You gotta link your PR Card application onto your account that shows status. You can use same account as when you applied for study permit or work permit if you have done it before.

You will get another email after the first invitaion, then you will get a nitification for eCOPR. PR Card application processing starts right away after eCOPR, then wait for white envelop that will arrive into your mailbox.

IRCC websites often have errors. maybe try again later.

Hello!
We received our eCOPR with my wife April 14 and I got my PR card May 20, for my wife the status is still submitted. Has anyone seen something like this? How can 1 card be delayed with more than a month from the same application...?
