I am guessing that in this year, maybe IRCC will let everybody in TR2PR pathway to have the AOR, if they have to leave somebody to have the PR later in this path.
For example, the AOR file, it is helpful for me to have the health card in Ontario, to let me work and live in Canada easier.
Looks like that. I have seen people able to link applications and receive AOR till the 13th of July as well. One person from 15th July also. I think they want to issue AOR to all of the TR2PR applications before express entry draw resumes.

You can't get OHIP with AOR though. Nothing change after AOR.

Hello Everyone
I have been following this group from long as saw many timelines, some started, some finalized, some under processing.

I applied on may 6, 12.25 EST IG category
Inland spouse and one child
No update till jan 2022

BIL jan 30,2022 (Application got linked rightaway)
ADR for PCC jan 30,2022 (submitted same day)
Medic
AOR JAN 31
Biometrics done on feb 1 (reflected in CIC account same day)

Feb 2 ( medical status changed to ‘you dont need medical exam)

March 28. - GU- We received the document you
provided and started reviewing

No update after that till date.
I was trying to call IRCC almost every other day but no luck, today call got connected in first attempt. Waiting time was 59 minutes, they ask me to leave number for call back and i did.

then i got call after 2 hours, the agent said file is in whitehorse and they are working on background check

I dont know how much time they gonna take on this.
Any advice or same timeline if someone can share, i will really appreciate.
Thanks!

My officer hasn't looked at my file since AOR. As I have given biometrics the next day after receiving AOR and GCMS notes says that Biometrics have been received but not been reviewed yet.
Wow. May be we have the same incompetent agent. My file is stuck under criminal check since jan 21st when I received the AOR/Biometrics request for my dependent.

Apply 4 months before
These freaks are refusing early applied ones true.
I applied 1 week before expiring my PGWP. If you plan to leave the country then apply with 4 months before. If you don't have plans you can apply anytime before the expire date. You will receive a temporary permit few days later while they are processing your WP extension. However don't loose the deadline, since you will be losing all your benefits(SIN, OHIP) to restore your status.

yes , and thanks for the information
I thought it would be work but after search several cases of OHIP by AOR, it seems like all failed.
anyway, with a full time job and OWP, that would be work.

yes, I will wait. Just a few weeks, I don't want to take chances. No, I just spoke with an RCIC and she said that it's across other categories too like bowp for ee
My PGWP expires in 1 year, but I still applied for OWP under TR to PR. I had no option. I had to apply OWP for my outland spouse so that she can be with me. While applying for the family member, I saw the following clause which clearly stated that I too had to apply for the OWP under this public policy.

"Your application will be refused if the principal applicant has not applied for an open work permit under this public policy."

If I followed the 4-month rule, then I would have not managed to apply OPW for my spouse for 8 more months. In this case, the whole idea of family reunification would have not made any sense.

I do not mind if they refuse my OWP, because it is pretty useless for me for now. I just hope my spouse gets it so that she can travel.
