Is she a new wife or was she married at the time of your application? If she was married to you before your application, you can go ahead and add her but everything will depend on the stage of your processing. It may mean starting your processing afresh. Therefore your processing time will be extended. It’s something you would have done from the beginning.

You need to appeal decision within set time limit, if you dont, then your WP becomes invalid and you may be deported

You have a window for appeal if you receive a negative decision. However, the appeal has a timeframe which you must observe. Once you utilize the appeal option, you’re not in any danger of deportation until the appeal makes a decision.

It’s unfortunate but you just have to give them what they want. The earlier you do that, the better for your application. Get to it.
