Has anyone here asked for their oaths to be rescheduled? If so, how long did it take you to get a new date?
I did that back in Jan and since then have not heard back from them.

If anyone could help, please do My application seems to be stuck after I asked for the oath to be rescheduled.
What can i do? Its been over 3 months

As usual, its just unknown waiting period to move to next stage(doesnt matter if we rescheduled or its the first time oath after DM). No one knows their criteria or working methods to predict the wait time.

You can send them an email to check where things are. Just write to the email address that the original oath invitation came from.
Quick tip: putting your file name and last name in the subject line may be useful.

Also which office is your file at? I think Vancouver office has way fewer applicants compared to some offices in Ontario.

The nEw Tracker its not updated yet..All completed excet Citizenship Oath but we recieved the Invitation for Ceremony last Wednesday..

I've been distracted so this update is very late -- but I had my oath on March 28th and my wife and I are now a Canadians!

Now we're just waiting on our certificates so that we can travel again...fingers crossed they arrive soon!

Congratulations on being a Canadian! When was your Decision Made date (All fields except oath completed)? You should get them this week, if not early next week for sure.

I asked for my oath to be rescheduled in January. I received a rescheduling update on April 7 for another oath ceremony scheduled for tomorrow. I also sent them a reminder by webform on March 23. Not sure if that helped move things forward.

Update. Just received oath invitation for an oath on May 4. No update on the online tracking tool. The invitation is from Niagara Falls IRCC office however I'm an Ottawa applicant and citizenship test was from Ottawa office..

Hello All,
I took the Oath on April 19 and my status got changed to "Complete" in the old tracker. Please update the tracker. Does that mean my Citizenship Certificate is printed?

I have been silently following this forum for 3 years and this will be my first and last post. Thank you all for your posts. They were much needed in moments of uncertainty. Good luck to everyone! Hope you all get your citizenship very soon.

my timeline:
Feb 2016 :became canadian permanent resident
Sep 2020: submitted application for canadian citizenship
Sep 2020: fedex confirmed they dropped my paper application at ircc office
Dec 2020: received email from IRCC confirming my file was complete and they had started working on my application
March 2021: online tracker changed to in progress for background verification
March 2021: online tracker changed to completed for background verification
June 2021: online tracker changed to "test in progress". Received invitation to do test 2 weeks after
July 2021: completed test. Scored 20/20. Get the guide, no other info is needed.
August 2021: test changed to completed in online tracker
Sep 2021: received email asking for all pages of passport with translation if language other than en or fr
Sep 2021: submitted copies of passport copies
Feb 2022: online tracker. All sections changed to green and were labelled as complete
March 2022: received invitation for oath two weeks before actual oath.
March 2022: took oath with 99 other candidates.
April 2022: received certificate of citizenship 3 weeks post oath
