Got my citizenship oath invitation today for April 28 th. November 2020 applicant cheers.

Congratulations. I got update on tracker that my Oath ceremony is on 28th April too and to follow instructions I should receive in the invitation but I have not received any emails yet. Did u get update happen on the tracker and u got the instructions email?

Email comes later - one week before the oath date in most cases, sometimes sooner few times very close to oath date.

When did you apply for your passport?
did you apply through passport canada or service canada?

Congratulations @siddharthbala and @Gunners. I had my Citizenship Oath Ceremony on April 9th. The Mississauga office that held the Oath Ceremony is right across my house but i haven't received my Citizenship Certificate yet. Maybe i should walk over and pick it up lol. My ecas shows complete but the tracker still says 'in progress'. Will keep you posted.

Oh nice congrats!! I am October 2020 Mississauga applicant. So if I understood correctly, In-Person oath ceremony has been started or was it still online ?

It's still virtual for now - no announcements have been made re: in-person oaths so it might be a while till that happens. Having attended the virtual oath ceremony it does seem that over the past year they've really streamlined the process and got it down to a science...my only criticism is that they could definitely have more per batch, given the Zoom moderation tools at their disposal, but c'est la vie. Maybe it's a licensing thing, who knows?

I emailed the IRCC Scarborough team asking for the oath instruction email since I'm scheduled on 26th Apr but haven't received the email yet. Below is their response for those who may concern:

It's scheduled for May 5th.

Thank you everyone here. I completed my oath today. I will move to passport timeline thread.
I will do one more update as when I receive the certificate.
However, my daughter not able to perform oath as she is no verbal. Officer will apply for waiver for her.

Congrats Nasif! There's a trend now that emails are being sent before the tracker being updated. almost 9 months since DM and all sections are complete here and still no invite
