Lol we all need to know!!! It’s a race between the old and the new lol. I actually thought I was in the new portal. Only to find out after submitting that I actually used the old portal. I’m my defence I google and It was only showing how to apply through the old portal. Even tho I google new IRCC portal lol. It still directed me to the old link. The Immigration website is not at all user friendly. The whole system is so stupid and very confusing.

Is that for Super Visa and not for regular Visitor Visa?

Hey everyone,

Super Visa Application Timeline 2022:

Application submitted for both parents : March 20th
Upfront Medicals for both parents submitted
Biometrics completed and valid from previous visitor visa file which was automatically withdrawn.
Medicals Passed for mother: March 29th
BVL for mother: March 29th
Father's application still shows: We are reviewing the results of your medical exam and no updates after that.

Still waiting. Heard usually its PPR stage after BVL is provided. Anyone had any experience like this before where 1 application is taking more time than other?

I’m sorta wondering the same but the only difference is I already submitted my MIL application. She doesn’t really have and major ties to her home country other than family. She doesn’t own property nor does she have savings. She does have A husband and her 2 daughter and 2 grandchildren. I know so many ppl advise against purchasing tickets prior to application approval unfortunately it was the only way we could prove that she would leave Canada at the end her stay.

Biometric & medical exam: done previously & upfront
Application submitted: April 14, 2022.

Let the waiting begins
There is no change in his travel history though. I'm super nervous now. Hope we all will receive the final decision soon!

Well Super Visa does not require any travel history or financial assets so you are good as long as you fulfilled the LICO requirements.

March 9: Bio submitted
March 10: Upfront medical exam
March 14: Update medical exam report through webform
March 21: Medical passed
March 28: Biometrics valid letter and PPR

Hi Everyone. ..I have some questions related to this process.
I am applying super visa for my Mother.
My father passed away recently, so the application is only for my mother. My question are below:

Family Information Form [IMM 5707]:
1. Do we still need to provide Spouse details for the applicant here and mention the marital status as Married-not physically present?
2. Grandparents are not alive. Does the applicant have to provide the details irrespective of the status? There is no status as Married-not physically present for these rows

Statutory Declaration of Common-law Union [IMM 5409]:
The applicant cannot provide spouse name or consent in the declaration form? Can we leave those sections blank and get it attested?

My parents Super Visa application refused in March 2022 that time both did their upfront medical and it was passed on 28th Feb 2022.
I applied again super visa for them again , I know medical valid for 12 Month from the date of passed so ideally the earlier medical will be work this time also.

In new application which i submitted on 5th April 2022 , medical status is not yet updated

My Question:
Do I need to fill Webform and upload old Medical IMMI pdf and tell IRCC , so that they can mark Medical Pass
OR
IRCC will automatically fetch this details on basis of UCI and I do not need to fill any webform

please suggest

I applied on 5th april as well for my mother’s super visa. Through gckey.
