I am still waiting for PPR. I submitted the ADR for PCC and Schedule A on 8th April.

Hopefully we will both receive the PPR at the same time. BTW, what is your current background status? Is it "application is in progress" or "processing your background check"? For me it is "application is in progress".

Based on what I read on other groups, It will change back to "processing your background check" few days before PPR. I was just checking whether you have the same status or something else.

Question -Last time I talked to IRCC 6 months ago, Background check wasn't started. Recently I got re-medical request. I finished it but I couldn't connect with IRCC again because calls flood.
My PCC is ofcourse expired, Should I wait for them to request or I should get PCC upfront. PCC is time consuming and cumbersome process. I am not sure if background is finished yet.

What do you suggest?

I would suggest to get it done in advance but do not inform them. In my application, background check passed a year back but still they asked for PCC.
Upload it once and if they ask. Most people are getting request for PCC.

That's what dilemma I have. Medical passed on April 9. Should I wait or do it. Indian PCC from USA is quite frustrating.

PCC is required for criminality check and not for background and security checks, If PCC gets expired before criminality check IRCC will ask for PCC again..

Actually I meant Criminality check (Criminality is part of background check). Only Security was pending but still IRCC asked for PCC again.

Hi, my AOR is 24th Sept FSW - Outland, there has been no update on my application. Have applied for GCMS notes, lets see what they reveal. Very disappointed to see no movement on my application, have been waiting for a while.

Did you check your inbox? Search "Canada". Sometimes their emails go to SPAM and Online portal doesn't reflect it.
