I applied super visa online for my mom who is in india. The timeline is as below. Can anyone advice on who long will the wait process be?


Submitted: Feb 25th 2022
Biometric: Feb 26th 2022
Biometric completed: March 5th 2022
Medical request: March 9th 2022
Medical passed: March 23rd 2022

I applied on March 22nd via GCKey. Initially, the number of Processing days were 103 and now it's showing 113..

I haven't received any request for health or anything else.

I heard that portal is faster, so applied through portal also today. Should I withdraw the previous application?

They will have similar processing times. It has only been 2 weeks so it hasn’t been very long since you applied. Estimated processing times fluctuate.

I applied Super Visa for my mom in new IRCC portal on Mar 28

Application submitted Mar 28
Biometric Request Mar 30
Biometric Completed Apr 1
Upfront Medical submitted via webform Apr 4

In IRCC portal, it still shows “Submitted” under Application Status and Progress bar is still blank. Is this normal? When will progress bar start moving?

A quick question.... I'm a PR and applying for my mom's visit visa through the new ircc portal.
The portal is not asking for any invitation letter, proof of relationship, or PR card it's asking for her national ID document, passport, and employer letter (from Canada), no more documents were required. Is that normal? I didn't say she will be working ?????

I think all those documents are required for Super Visa not just normal Visitor Visa...Not sure though as I applied for Super Visa only and attached all that.

Once you submit Questioner online it will suggest you the type of options available for them ,
I used Old link and GCkey Login and it asked for all , Invitation letter , Means of Fund, many forms , medical , Purpose . etc etc. for both for my Parent super Visa,

Hello Frens,
I am applying super visa for parents. I heard that while applying super visa, IRCC will ask details of my parent’s siblings. But when I am applying from new IRCC portal, I dont see any form to fill out that info.
Is siblings info for my parents not needed with new IRCC portal?

Yes Family Form is must for the applicant , I am not sure about new portal , But I filled via GCKey and it asked me to fill all those forms

My mum already has visitor visa. Can she apply super visa from outside of Canada and go back to Canada by visitor visa while waiting for super visa processing?
Does she have to submit the passport for stamp in the country that she submited the application ?

Better let her come in Canada and apply from here for super visa , that is possible

We paid 4000 insurance for parents supervisa, can i get money back after visa approval or when parents leave canada after 2 months?

This is very common Question , Better you check with your Insurance once, Few insurance company return the partial amount after deducting Processing fess and Monthly calculation amount
I checked and put this scenario with my agent and he suggested me the right insurance provider ,
cause might be my parents will back after 8 month , so they will charge prorated basis and little processing fees and return the rest

so check with your agent

Go with IRCC portal, the new one, it is way quicker than GC Portal as per posts on here

Ok so I am curious to know wether I applied with the new portal or not. I applied from the IRCC - GC key portal. I’m confused is this not the new portal or did I make a mistake!?

I am applying for super visa of my parents as their representative. I created IRCC account under my name and started a new visa application. In that application, I entered my parents details and declared myself as their representative.
My questions is, should the IRCC account be under my name or one of parent’s name?
