I never knew when mine went for final review. They did not send an email and I did not bother to call them. I just checked ecas one night and saw final decision. The next day I received the email to confirm presence in Canada, 2 days later, PR portal email. Five days after that came the almighty eCOPR.
For some people in the forum, between 2 to 8 weeks. Best of luck to your cousin.

@Ayanna ; H and C application submitted June,2021 with visitor record extension up to Dec.15,2021. Visitor record extension applied Dec.14 on line and received same day. Status implied. Do we need to update on line? or UCI reflects this information to officer ? Pl guide

no you don’t need to updates they can see that too you don’t need any exemption all you need approval
If you get approval your stage 2 will be very swiftly or if you get refuse you don’t have be worried about deportation or removal because status

If they ask for resume & address all you have to do is complete these forms and submit . Maybe they just want to see where you live in the past 10 year or so & what kind of job you had. If they ask seem like it’s a good sign pretty sure if they wanted to refuse they wouldn’t have ask. I would complete ASAP doesn’t seem serious to me . ‍

if immigration asked for something it’s important you need to fill out Imm5669 to them otherwise your process will Daley

you can apply any time you want as long you did your taxes or your wife/husband if you have valid status like work permit temporary status
