Question for those who have already got their citizenship certificate

Is `Effective date of Citizenship` mentioned on citizenship certificate same as the date we took the oath?

Perfect, thank you. That about 1 month and 1 week between DM and oath. In Kitchener vo.
My DM is in March 09. So, I should check my tracker on April 15.

I mean that to keep eye open for expected update. Nowadays, I believe backlog for oath building up. Even the last email from my vo said I granted citizenship and you are inline for oath.

I just had interview and the guy was so lame. He talked like a robot. If you don't like your job, quit it! I loved my job and I often cracked people up.

He just checked my IDs. 10 minutes before the interview he told me he's unable to download my passport stamp files......He said that's the only thing he needs right now and told me to send it ASAP. They're finalizing my application. Interview should really be eliminated for domestic applicants. Waste of time. Because I'm outside, they need to verify my identity.

Hi guys! I had my oath yesterday and today my application says closed on the tracker. Does it mean they have posted my citizenship certificate? And is it regular mail?

Finally good news. I got oath update today on my tracker. Oath ceremony is scheduled for April 19th. My Dm was February 7th.

I did my oath yesterday at 9:30 AM conducted by Niagara Falls office. My application status is still “In Progress”.
