Its in their website, the pop up instruction says walk in allowed.
Good luck with that though- I went in for walk in BLS toronto 10am- security sent me home after 12.30 saying no more walk in. ( people were standing in walk in line from 7 am).
Try to book appointment between 8.30 am to 8.45am daily under OCI, Visa or passport category.

After "underprocess" on BLS website, next status now showing is "Processing at Consulate General" on BLS website
Does this mean file is at India for OCI booklet printing or its just at CGI Toronto?

BLS tracker for SC got updated to Ready for Collection earlier today Vancouver BLS is superfast - 9 days!
Will goto BLS tomorrow to collect, and will update.

(1) You dont need to take your Kids but if you are driving to BLS Centre then I would recommend you take them and leave them in the car as I did the same.

Hello Guys,

On MEA site my OCI status says received at Toronto on March 22. Does it mean that it is ready to be picked up ? On BLS it still says Processing at Consulate General .

Can anyone advise what is the next step ?

Hi Friends,
After receiving "Certificate of Canadian Citizenship" in canada can i travel to India on an Indian passport (within 3 months grace period) and apply for a Canada passport , Surrender Indian passport , apply for a new OCI card from INDIA ? Please advise as i have to move to india for a year due to a family emergency.

Yeah, about two weeks after you send/submit your application to BLS.

Yes, that is the URL to check. It takes about 10 days to 2 weeks from the acknowledgement date in BLS to appear in the OCI status website

Also the 6-8 weeks of turn around time, is it counted from then your application reaches BLS or it reaches CGI or it reaches MEA, New Delhi?
