Where do you confirm "presence in Canada". Do you do this after getting portal credentials ?

It's in the portal.
After we log in, we have to declare that we are in Canada before submitting our photo and address.
It's very simple. We only have to check in a box to submit the declaration.

it's been a month now that no updates for my PR card, it is "still in review by IRCC"

Yes, once you get the portal login credentials there are 2 steps.
1. Declaration and confirm you're in Canada. Do this as soon you log in to the portal website. (This step1 will send the eCoPR download link)
2. Update the Address and Photo and submit the photos for the PR card review. (This steps is for PR Card approval).

Portal Credentials: March 14, 2022 (morning)
Submitted Address and Photos: March 14, 2022 (afternoon)

You should be getting it soon. For me it took 2 days. Submitted on 12 th, got copr on 14th

It is valid until the same date as my medical validity in November 2022.

Guys, any suggestions what can I do ?

• I received a portal confirmation letter (addressed to only the dependent) in my GC key account. This letter wasn't emailed
• There was no email mentioned in that letter
• Primary applicant still went ahead and sent 2 emails each to portal confirmation ids (ontario one and generic one)
• Called IRCC and they said, they will send a note to the officer.

I have been patiently waiting all this while, but now, I just can't seem to wait.

The Etobicoke portal login id worked for me. They were actively responding to all my mails. Try mailing them attaching the information letter you got for your dependent. Explain that you have received the same in your cic account and share the information requested.
