I made a mistake on my initial Surrender application which was sent via prepaid purolator service. BLS tracker status showed - New online application required. The first one is having wrong date of birth. Please track your application regularly. Please mail documents at the following address (Surrey BLS address)
Even though I sent a new application via purolator with a cover letter about a week ago, my status has not changed. Am worried. Some people on the forum reported that their complete application package with passport was returned to them because they had an error on their application . How do I find out? I hope my package is not lost. If they would send it back, would they not write on my status that package has been sent back. Feeling stressed . Please advise.
Did they allow you to collect from a different location than the one you submitted from? Did you specially request in-person collection during submission?
Looking at the recent trends, using their Postal service means delays of few weeks + the possibility of return due to any mistake. I am super confused, and already becoming stressed. I have an Appointment for April 6 at Vancouver BLS and my flight for May 31st. Does any one think Postal would save time if it were sent on 22nd April? I do plan to gate crash Vancouver on Friday.

You didnt receive any updates from purulator I guess. I am on tight schedule, it would be helpful if I receive the surrender within this week.

No. Nothing from Purolator as yet. As per various posts on this thread, I am guessing anywhere between 4 and 10 days from this status for BLS to receive it, and then I'll get the Purolator tracking code.

Now that makes me worried. My initial package had gone through pre paid Purolator service. My online status on BLS says pending. Also BLS has a courier option to send pending document. Am wondering what should I do to find out. I did not receive any document. if they would send my documents back would they not update it to closed. In fact they even wrote the address on the status and asked to send the new Application
Hi Mishti. I am also in the same boat, my BLS tracker shows ‘returned’ and has the details of my old application & address and not the new one. I think it will take about 8 business days to show the details of the new tracker. Maybe those who have resubmitted application after being returner can provide some insight.
I resubmitted the application on the 9th of March.
Unfortunately there appears to be no way to find out whether they sent your application back, you have to wait for Purolator to knock at your door or leave you a ‘we missed you’ notice. I still have not received tracking info. from BLS for the application that was returned even after sending emails and submitting service requests.
Purolator will keep your documents for 5 days and then return it to BLS. You can try picking it up on person if you haven't received them in a few weeks.
